Darice, an international wholesaler/retailer of arts and craft products is seeking a POS Support Analyst to support all the technology that exists at our retail operation. This includes supporting and answering end user questions related to POS and PC software/hardware, PC peripherals, and store business application.
Responsibilities include: Field calls/emails from stores, logging issues and following through to resolution. On call during store operations, which will be up to 7 days a week/holidays. During normal business hours, the role will have primary responsibility for calls. The after hour calls will rotate amongst the team. Periodically the position will require an on-site visit at the stores in order to conduct maintenance or handle support of a specific IT project. Heavy lifting.
Qualifications include: Strong customer service and communication skills. Well organized with the ability to multi-task. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to manage appropriate response to customer issues. Working knowledge of PC hardware, printers, and other peripherals. Working knowledge of PC OS (Windows Server/XP/7). Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools. Basic LAN/WAN knowledge.EOE
